Stuart Weitzman Designer Womens Shoes

Stuart Weizman has made a name for himself and his shoe line thanks to his ability to tread the waters of uniqueness and incorporate materials such as cork and 24 carat gold in his shoes. Sold in 45 countries around the world, Weitzman continued his families shoe factory that his father began in the 1950s.

Stuart actually cut his teeth in the business by designing shoes for the company that eventually became his. Weitzman started a tradition in 2002 by providing one of a kind million dollar shoes to the Oscar nominee of his choice to wear during the ceromony. Only once has his shoes been declined and that was for the 2007 awards when Diablo Cody said thanks, but no thanks.
