For every red carpet or just any chance for a photo op, we always look at the best and worst dressed celebrities out of the bunch. While we all get a good look at the frocks they are wearing, I always strain for a great look at their shoes. Sometimes, the shoes are completely covered or overpowered by the dress but there are also those times when the shoes make the whole look.
There have been a lot of events for celebrities to show off their style this year and I can hardly remember all of them but I can recall a few of my favorites and a few of the ones I would like everyone to forget.
One shoe that I am kind of on the fence about has to be the Christian Louboutin Tsar pumps that Leighton Meester (from Gossip Girl) wore for the 2010 Teen Choice Awards. While I do think that the shoes match the Emilio Pucci dress quite well, I think the shoe would have been better off without the pom-poms. But the more I look at them, the more I’m actually entranced by their extravagance. Maybe if the design went for a different embellishment, the shoes could have made my wish list.
